Lately I got wind of a really great week of action called "Fat Talk Free Week". the official week was October 19-23, but it can be celebrated at any point. The week is an international, 5-day body activism campaign that draws attention to body image issues and the damaging impact of the thin ideal on women in society. This public awareness effort came from the Tri-Delta Fraternity's body image education and eating disorders prevention program, Reflections: Body Image Program.
